I started in photography quite late. I owned various point and shoot cameras that I used to take snapshots throughout my teens and twenties. I finally bought my first DSLR (a Nikon D5000) when I turned thirty. I took as many images with my new camera as I could and captured moments on some great holidays and of our new born baby.
However, it wasn’t until four years later that I really fell in love with photography when I attended a beginners photography course run by a local photographer near to where I live in St Albans. This opened my eyes to what was really possible with my camera and how to turn snapshots into beautiful images.
Ever since then I’ve been striving to improve the images I capture whether they’re landscapes, architecture, portraits or pretty much anything that catches my eye. Hopefully you like some of them!
